Modigliani – Fili e Segni · Fili Version · Sugar Bowl with Lid in hand‑painted ceramic, made in Italy

Bring a touch of light and colour into your home with the sugar bowl from the Fili e Segni collection, presented in its Fili Version. This piece of Italian ceramic is handcrafted and hand‑painted by master artisans, featuring colourful radial lines that open across the surface to create a harmonious, fresh, and contemporary visual effect.

Use it to store sugar, but also as a container for candies or small treats: it’s perfect for relaxed family breakfasts or those coffee breaks with friends that turn into moments of conversation and joy.

Create your own personalized set by pairing the Fili sugar bowl with other pieces from the collection: the colourful lines blend beautifully with the bolder strokes of the Segni Version, allowing you to compose a modern, dynamic table full of personality.

Give or treat yourself to an object that celebrates the beauty of Italian craftsmanship: each sugar bowl is a unique piece that carries the care, creativity, and tradition of Modigliani’s ceramic masters.

The sugar bowl from the Fili e Segni line is made of white earthenware and finished with a special layering of Modigliani’s exclusive glazes. This technique enhances the brilliance of the colours and adds depth to the decoration, making it luminous, vibrant, and full of movement.

Our history

Founded in the early 1980s, the Modigliani brand is actually heir to a tradition in glasses and ceramics that began in Rome in the late 19th century with a small shop in the historic center of the capital.

Modigliani has always known how to combine the Italian manufacturing tradition with a strong impetus towards technical and formal innovation, giving life to a new aesthetic language in the ceramic design.

Writing on Modigliani, therefore, means referring to a completely new way of interpreting ceramics. This for 4 generations.

Our mission

At the base is the renowned Italian manufacturing tradition, appreciated globally for its quality. Modigliani’s creations stand out for their innovative aesthetic language, which has given new life to an ancient material, attracting not only lovers of the classic, but also those seeking modern solutions for table and home furnishings.

Thus, Modigliani quickly established itself as a leader in the ceramics sector, introducing new trends for tableware and objects. Thanks to an efficient internal organization and a targeted distribution strategy, the brand is successfully positioned in the most exclusive points of sale, reaching markets all over the world, from the United States to Korea, from Europe to Latin America and the Middle East.
