Modigliani – Fili e Segni · Segni Version · Oval Plate 25×36 cm in hand‑painted ceramic, made in Italy

Discover the expressive character of the 25×36 cm oval plate from the Fili e Segni collection, where Italian craftsmanship meets a modern decorative language defined by bold, graphic strokes. Each piece is hand‑painted by master artisans who, through exclusive techniques and proprietary glazes, transform ceramic into a unique object rich in style and authenticity.

This oval plate, decorated with strong, contemporary, and expressive marks, brings a refined yet dynamic aesthetic to your table. The decisive brushstrokes of the Segni Version create a modern visual rhythm that enhances both simple dishes and more elaborate presentations. Its generous size makes it ideal as a serving platter or as a decorative element that adds personality to your table setting.

The Fili e Segni collection features two complementary variations designed to interact harmoniously. The bold graphic marks of the Segni Version pair naturally with the more vibrant lines of the Fili Version, allowing you to create original, lively, and ever‑evolving mix‑and‑match combinations. A table that expresses your style through contrasts, shapes, and colors.

The plate is made of white earthenware and finished with a special layering of Modigliani’s exclusive glazes, a technique that enhances the brilliance of the colors and adds depth to the decoration, making it even more vibrant and dynamic.

Our history

Founded in the early 1980s, the Modigliani brand is actually heir to a tradition in glasses and ceramics that began in Rome in the late 19th century with a small shop in the historic center of the capital.

Modigliani has always known how to combine the Italian manufacturing tradition with a strong impetus towards technical and formal innovation, giving life to a new aesthetic language in the ceramic design.

Writing on Modigliani, therefore, means referring to a completely new way of interpreting ceramics. This for 4 generations.

Our mission

At the base is the renowned Italian manufacturing tradition, appreciated globally for its quality. Modigliani’s creations stand out for their innovative aesthetic language, which has given new life to an ancient material, attracting not only lovers of the classic, but also those seeking modern solutions for table and home furnishings.
