Modigliani – Fili e Segni · Fili Version · Rectangular Plate 49×24.5 cm in hand‑painted ceramic, made in Italy
In Modigliani’s tradition, craftsmanship meets modernity to create unique pieces made with exclusive techniques and proprietary glazes.

This large 49×24.5 cm rectangular plate, entirely hand‑painted, expresses all the vitality of the Fili Version, where fluid lines and dynamic interlacing sweep across the surface, creating movement, energy, and contemporary elegance.

It is not just a design object, but a true piece of art to enjoy every day. Its generous proportions make it ideal for serving appetizers, cheese and charcuterie selections, main courses, side dishes, or more scenic compositions during an elegant dinner or a convivial lunch. Every preparation gains character thanks to the visual rhythm of the lines, which add a touch of colour and personality to your table.

If you’re looking for a special gift idea, the Fili e Segni collection is the perfect choice. The two variants—the lively strokes of the Fili Version and the bolder marks of the Segni Version—are designed to complement each other, allowing you to create original, dynamic, and ever‑changing combinations. A set that brings an authentic expression of Italian craftsmanship and a burst of contemporary style into any home.

The 49×24.5 cm rectangular plate is made of white earthenware and finished with a special layering of Modigliani’s exclusive glazes. This technique enhances the brilliance of the colours and adds depth to the decoration, making it even more luminous, vibrant, and full of movement.

Our history

Founded in the early 1980s, the Modigliani brand is actually heir to a tradition in glasses and ceramics that began in Rome in the late 19th century with a small shop in the historic center of the capital.

Modigliani has always known how to combine the Italian manufacturing tradition with a strong impetus towards technical and formal innovation, giving life to a new aesthetic language in the ceramic design.

Writing on Modigliani, therefore, means referring to a completely new way of interpreting ceramics. This for 4 generations.

Our mission

At the base is the renowned Italian manufacturing tradition, appreciated globally for its quality. Modigliani’s creations stand out for their innovative aesthetic language, which has given new life to an ancient material, attracting not only lovers of the classic, but also those seeking modern solutions for table and home furnishings.

Thus, Modigliani quickly established itself as a leader in the ceramics sector, introducing new trends for tableware and objects. Thanks to an efficient internal organization and a targeted distribution strategy, the brand is successfully positioned in the most exclusive points of sale, reaching markets all over the world, from the United States to Korea, from Europe to Latin America and the Middle East.
