Modigliani – Sogno Toscano – Small Hand‑Painted Ceramic Shallow Basket Made in Italy

Bring an authentic touch of Tuscany into your home with this basket from the Sogno Toscano collection, entirely hand‑painted in Italy. Its low, wide, softly irregular shape offers a contemporary interpretation of the Tuscan landscape: meadows, cypress trees, and small farmhouses come to life through broad, blended brushstrokes that highlight the light and colors of the rolling hills.

Perfect as a centerpiece to enrich your everyday table or special occasions, it can also be used to serve appetizers during an aperitivo or to decorate a corner of your home with a splash of color and personality.
Each piece is unique, thanks also to its handle — different every time — a true mark of artisanal craftsmanship.

Made from Tuscan terracotta and finished with Modigliani’s exclusive triple‑layer glazing technique, it enhances the depth of the colors and brings even more vibrancy and movement to the decoration.

Dishwasher and microwave safe.

Our history

Founded in the early 1980s, the Modigliani brand is actually heir to a tradition in glasses and ceramics that began in Rome in the late 19th century with a small shop in the historic center of the capital.

Modigliani has always known how to combine the Italian manufacturing tradition with a strong impetus towards technical and formal innovation, giving life to a new aesthetic language in the ceramic design.

Writing on Modigliani, therefore, means referring to a completely new way of interpreting ceramics. This for 4 generations.

Our mission

At the base is the renowned Italian manufacturing tradition, appreciated globally for its quality. Modigliani’s creations stand out for their innovative aesthetic language, which has given new life to an ancient material, attracting not only lovers of the classic, but also those seeking modern solutions for table and home furnishings.

Thus, Modigliani quickly established itself as a leader in the ceramics sector, introducing new trends for tableware and objects. Thanks to an efficient internal organization and a targeted distribution strategy, the brand is successfully positioned in the most exclusive points of sale, reaching markets all over the world, from the United States to Korea, from Europe to Latin America and the Middle East.
