Modigliani – Sogno Toscano – Medium Hand‑Painted Ceramic Shallow Basket Made in Italy

Bring the warm, luminous atmosphere of Tuscany to your table with this basket from the Sogno Toscano collection, entirely hand‑painted in Italy. Its medium size, wider and more generous in shape, preserves the soft, organic lines of the series while offering a contemporary artistic interpretation of the Tuscan landscape: green fields, rows of cypress trees, and countryside farmhouses emerge through fluid, blended brushstrokes that capture the light of the rolling hills.

Ideal as a centerpiece to enhance your everyday table or a special occasion, it can also be used to serve bread, fruit, or small bites, or simply to add a touch of color and craftsmanship to your home décor. Each basket is truly one of a kind, featuring a handle that varies from piece to piece, a distinctive sign of its artisanal creation.

Made from Tuscan terracotta and finished with Modigliani’s exclusive triple‑layer glazing technique, it highlights the depth of the colors and brings movement and vibrancy to the decoration.

Dishwasher and microwave safe.

Our history

Founded in the early 1980s, the Modigliani brand is actually heir to a tradition in glasses and ceramics that began in Rome in the late 19th century with a small shop in the historic center of the capital.

Modigliani has always known how to combine the Italian manufacturing tradition with a strong impetus towards technical and formal innovation, giving life to a new aesthetic language in the ceramic design.

Writing on Modigliani, therefore, means referring to a completely new way of interpreting ceramics. This for 4 generations.

Our mission

At the base is the renowned Italian manufacturing tradition, appreciated globally for its quality. Modigliani’s creations stand out for their innovative aesthetic language, which has given new life to an ancient material, attracting not only lovers of the classic, but also those seeking modern solutions for table and home furnishings.

Thus, Modigliani quickly established itself as a leader in the ceramics sector, introducing new trends for tableware and objects.
