Gessetto, pitcher in hand‑painted Italian ceramic.

Discover the pitcher from the Gessetto collection, a true expression of Italian craftsmanship that blends modern simplicity with attention to detail. Its deep black base is hand‑decorated with the signature white “chalk‑style” design, giving it a contemporary, graphic look that makes it perfect both for everyday use and as a stylish piece to display in your home.

Bringing it to the table adds a touch of character to any occasion: a family lunch, an aperitivo with friends, a well‑set dinner, or a relaxed gathering. Its clean, modern aesthetic fits effortlessly into any setting, making the pitcher not only functional but also a decorative accent that enhances your space.

Ideal for serving water, wine, juices, or cold beverages, the Gessetto pitcher also makes a thoughtful gift for anyone who appreciates contemporary design and authentic Italian craftsmanship. It’s a piece that tells the story of skilled hands and creative tradition, where every detail reflects the artist who made it.

Made from Tuscan terracotta and finished with Modigliani’s exclusive glazes, the Gessetto pitcher highlights the contrast between the dark surface and the light decoration, making each piece unique and full of personality.

Our history

Founded in the early 1980s, the Modigliani brand is actually heir to a tradition in glasses and ceramics that began in Rome in the late 19th century with a small shop in the historic center of the capital.

Modigliani has always known how to combine the Italian manufacturing tradition with a strong impetus towards technical and formal innovation, giving life to a new aesthetic language in the ceramic design.

Writing on Modigliani, therefore, means referring to a completely new way of interpreting ceramics. This for 4 generations.

Our mission

Modigliani’s creations stand out for their innovative aesthetic language, which has given new life to an ancient material, attracting not only lovers of the classic, but also those seeking modern solutions for table and home furnishings.
