Modigliani – Gessetto, 35 cm Salad Bowl in hand‑painted Italian ceramic. Perfect on the table, elegant as a decorative accent.

Bring the authenticity of Italian craftsmanship into your home with this salad bowl from the Gessetto collection, a piece that blends contemporary simplicity with tactile warmth. The deep, modern black base is enriched by the distinctive white hand‑drawn “chalk” decoration — a graphic stroke that adds movement, personality, and a minimalist elegance capable of enhancing any space.

Its wide, welcoming shape makes it ideal for every type of salad, from everyday preparations to more refined recipes. The contrast between the intense black and the crisp white decoration creates a refined, contemporary visual effect, perfect for a modern, thoughtfully curated table.

Perfect for family lunches, dinners with friends, or as a centerpiece with understated yet striking design, this salad bowl can also be used to hold fresh fruit or as a decorative object in the kitchen or living room. The Gessetto line, with its graphic and contemporary style, lends itself to harmonious and timeless combinations.

If you’re looking for a gift that expresses taste, care, and a love for authentic craftsmanship, this salad bowl is an impeccable choice. It tells the story of skilled hands, tradition, and Italian creativity — ideal for anyone who wants to bring home an object that combines functionality and style.

Our history

Founded in the early 1980s, the Modigliani brand is actually heir to a tradition in glasses and ceramics that began in Rome in the late 19th century with a small shop in the historic center of the capital.

Modigliani has always known how to combine the Italian manufacturing tradition with a strong impetus towards technical and formal innovation, giving life to a new aesthetic language in the ceramic design.

Writing on Modigliani, therefore, means referring to a completely new way of interpreting ceramics. This for 4 generations.

Our mission

At the base is the renowned Italian manufacturing tradition, appreciated globally for its quality. Modigliani’s creations stand out for their innovative aesthetic language, which has given new life to an ancient material, attracting not only lovers of the classic, but also those seeking modern solutions for table and home furnishings.

Thus, Modigliani quickly established itself as a leader in the ceramics sector, introducing new trends for tableware and objects. Thanks to an efficient internal organization and a targeted distribution strategy, the brand is successfully positioned in the most exclusive points of sale, reaching markets all over the world, from the United States to Korea, from Europe to Latin America and the Middle East.
